Our Mission: Pursue the creation of an athletic complex for
youth sports including soccer, football
and baseball/softball. Communicate the need for a youth sports
complex to our memberships, local youth
organizations, city officials, and the
general community. Actively pursue any and all funding sources
for a sports complex including but not limited to:
fundraising, grant writing, city resources, corporate
sponsorships and community taxation.
Work in a cooperative manner with any and all interested parties with similar goals and vision.

Sept 2, 2008-City Council meeting minutes:
Appointment to Lafayette Sports Partnership
Mayor Cameron appointed Councilor Ruggeri and herself to serve as Council liaisons to the Lafayette Sports Partnership. She requested staff involvement by Recreation & Facility Management Director Cheesman and City Administrator Klaphake. A motion was made by Councilor Cutler and seconded by Mayor ProTem Strungis to approve the appointments. The motion passed unanimously. |
