Lafayette Bobcats

Football

Bobcat football has been a part of Lafayette for over 60 years. You will regularly see former players as parents and grandparents at the games cheering on their beloved Bobcats.

The family atmosphere is easy to see at any Lafayette Bobcats event. All five teams practice in the same place, gathering in one large group each week for award presentations. All five teams enjoy things together like a BBQ, car wash and running across the field at a Centaurus High School football game. They even have an annual Bobcat Day where all Bobcat teams play at home with everyone cheering for each other.

exceptional value

The Lafayette Bobcats charge the lowest fees in the area.  Many other programs will cost double or more. We also offer scholarships to offset a portion of the fees.

about us

Lafayette Bobcat Football (LBF) is a competitive, tackle football league for 7-12 year olds. We are a non-profit, volunteer organization, and are a chapter in the Coal Creek Midget Football League (CCMFL).

Our objective is to provide participants with the training and instruction to develop their skills and knowledge so they may perform at their optimum level during competitive league competition. In addition to teaching football skills, LBF helps develop sportsmanship, teamwork and confidence.

The Bobcats are a proud member of the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce. We look forward to participating in Chamber activities and making a positive impact on the Lafayette community.

All coaches for the Lafayette Bobcats are required to participate in training sponsored by the Positive Coaching Alliance and USA Football in the off-season.
