When is registration?
2026 Registration is open for both returning and new families. Please register at your earliest convenience, as teams fill up fast!

What if my player already has plans in those beginning weeks?
Plenty of players have other things going on in the summer, so there's flexibility in the early weeks. That being said, Lafayette Bobcats Football is a competitive program, so making a commitment to your team is very important down the stretch of the season.
What will the schedule look like?
The specific schedule is set by each coach. Generally, teams practice 2-3 days per week for a couple of hours, Mon-Fri at Lafayette Elementary.

Games are Saturday mornings around Denver / Fort Collins, Colorado areas.

Games are weekly from around Sep 1 to around October 31 (Dates TBD).

Playoffs are the last week of October into the first weeks of November.
How many games are played in the season?
6 games are guaranteed, plus playoffs / "bowl" games. The regular season takes place in September and October, and the playoffs are in the first 2-3 weeks of November (Dates TBD).
Do returning players have priority?
Yes. Returning players are given advance registration notice. Depending upon the level of interest, there may be tryouts for spots that aren't already filled by returning players.
